INNOVATION FORUM 2008

Innovation Forum, 23 May, Bristol Zoo Gardens

The South West Science and Industry Council and Science City Bristol will hold the second Innovation Forum of 2008 at Bristol Zoo Gardens on Friday 23rd May.

Innovation Forums are an excellent opportunity to find out more about government funding for R&D, skills and other government initiatives available to companies in the South West.

During the morning sessions there will be technology demonstrations from key South West companies who have developed new, inspirational and innovative technologies with the assistance of government funding. As well as providing ample opportunity for cross sector networking, in the afternoon we will have 'how to' style demonstrations from three different grant awarding organisations:

Grant for Research and Development
Framework Programme 7
Technology Strategy Board

The event will also provide a rare opportunity to meet one−to−one with organisations that can assist with:
− Skills and Training
− Technology Transfer
− Intellectual Property
− Funding

The event will begin at 10am and conclude at 3.30pm, whereupon delegates will be given a free pass for the zoo.

Our last Innovation Forum proved very popular. If you wish to attend this one, please e−mail Secretariat@SWSIC.com as soon as possible.

Programme and further information to follow.
